How to sign in

Before you can manage your website, you must sign in to the backend application.

You must enter two pieces of information to sign in. Your email address is the address you registered with Prater Raines or your site owner. Your password is assigned to you when you register and emailed to you. Once you've entered both, use the "Sign in" button to sign in.

Do not give your password to someone else. If a different person needs to administer your website, you should call us to arrange a new user account.

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new password be emailed to you.

If you are not overlooked, you can toggle whether the characters in your password are displayed or hidden from view.

If you are using a private computer that is only accessible to you, you can choose to be remembered. As long as you don't explicitly sign out, and return at least once every 2 weeks, this means you won't need to sign in again the next time you visit.

You should never use this option on a shared computer or a laptop, and you should sign out when you are finished.

If you choose to be remembered and someone steals your laptop or uses the shared computer, they will have access to your account. They could potentially add, remove, or change any content on your public website. If they add something libellous, you might be liable for the fine. Depending on your website's functionality, they might be able to access sensitive information, such as your supporters' names and addresses, web statistics, and financial information. They might be able to post to your social networks and read your emails or send emails appearing to come from you.

If you are having problems signing in or need to discuss any issues with your site, please call us on 0345 363 7163.
